Rate of house price growth slows

The rate of increase fell from 11.8% in June 2014 to 10.6% in July 2014, with a monthly change of 0.1% (down from 1.0% in June).

This meant the average house price increased from £188,949 to £188,903.

So prices are still rising, just not as quickly. Looks like Mr Carney’s warning has had the desired effect.
